Following on their piece looking at Evony earlier in the week, they do a follow up, giving right to reply to Benjamin Gifford and Walt Yarbrough of Regan Mercantile, the folk behind Evony. Evony have – er – been active recently. The best over-view of the situation is courtesy of Game Set Watch. Bruce Everiss made a series of accusations against United Multiplayer Gaming Entertainment, Evony’s developer. They respond with a series of hefty old threatening letters. The Guardian’s got one too. The case has been filed in Australia of all places, which Bruce reads as an attempt to deliberately make it as hard as possible for him to defend himself. Really, it’s quite the mess. I advise you to start at GSW and see what you make of it.

Oh God. Thanks to the forum, I’m advert-blogging. Which can only mean one of two things: i) Post-Darkfall review I’ve totally lost it or ii) it’s an awesome advert that needs immortalisation. Or maybe both. Anyway, Plants Versus Zombies has a new ad-campaign. It’s been seen over at the Penny Arcade – maybe they did it? If so, well done you, Mr Penny and Mr Arcade – and is well worth nosing at. And it’s under the cut because it’s too long to go above it.
