It’s safe to say I didn’t enjoy Hydrophobia: Prophecy so much, but when it comes to listening to players’ comments it’s hard to fault developers Dark Energy. Today they’re reporting some impressive success from their Darknet system – a context sensitive feedback system that lets the team see customer remarks exactly where they have them during the game.

Impressions: Hydrophobia Prophecy

Dark Energy have rejigged their infamous Hydrophobia game once more, releasing it for PC at an extremely cheap price for a full length game: £9. This is an Impressions, rather than a Wot I Think, because I’m my own editor, and there’s no one in enough authority to force me to carry on past the first four or so hours. It’s safe to say I haven’t enjoyed my time in Hydrophobia‘s watery future world of terrorists vs. dryness. You can find out why below.

Back In The Water: Hydrophobia Prophecy

Seems more like philia to me.

Hydrophobia – a game with perhaps a bigger reputation for the antics of its developers than its own watery ways – is making the leap from 360 exclusive to PC and PSN. And with the state of PSN, that’s an exclusive for PC then. It’s to be called Hydrophobia Prophecy.
