Oh My: Resonance/Gemini Rue Folks Announce Primordia

By Nathan Grayson on August 15th, 2012.

Clouds!

It’s been an almost absurdly good year for adventure games, but there are still four months left on the calendar. And so along comes the Wormwood-developed Primordia, coated head-to-mechanized-toe in dystopic dust, but holding its head high thanks to a partnership with Wadjet Eye Games, which puts it alongside the likes of Resonance, Gemini Rue, Blackwell Deception, and The Shivah – among others. Resonance Cascading Onto PC June 19

By Adam Smith on May 17th, 2012.

Before Francis, there was Francois Girard. And Bill was originally a 40 year old, divorced office manager.

Mr Cobbett has already offered an opinion on the first act of Wadjet Eye’s upcoming point and click adventure Resonance. Despite some backtracking and irritation due to a limited inventory of sorts in the handling of memories, he was full of praise for the dialogue and characters declaring “I can’t wait to play the rest of it”. He’ll have his chance soon enough. Preorders are now open, with a $24.99 boxed version (with Steam key) available, or a digital download through GOG for $8.99. The game will actually be released on June 19th and there’s a trailer below.

Fourplay: Pointing And Clicking With Resonance

By Richard Cobbett on April 6th, 2012.

Gasp! A Wadjet Eye game whose advert isn't just two people standing next to each other? Nope! Resonance has four!
Being an adventure fan isn’t always easy. Only the other week, I had to endure Pendulo Studios’ Yesterday – a game of dark mystery and devilry whose general quality is probably best summed up by this tweet. Luckily, for every low, there’s a high, and while I’ve only played the opening act of Wadjet Eye/xii’s upcoming Resonance, it’s more than washed the bad taste out of my mouth. Here’s a few reasons for your mouse finger to look forward to it…
