Re-opening the Pandora’s Box of Godfather-based gags, EA have announced they’re at work on a sequel to the ill-received but commercially successful Godfather game. Called The Godfather 2, it “goes beyond the film’s story by setting players in the world of organized crime in 1960’s Florida, Cuba and New York.” Maybe by the time we reach Godfather 3 we’ll have gone really beyond the story, and it’ll be set on Mars fighting the Venusian Coke-dealers. Because i) I hate those Venusian coke-dealers and ii) That’s got to be better than the real Godfather 3. The game will debut a week today on Gametrailers TV.
The whole press-release can be found beneath the cut for you to pick over.
