Steve Meretzky: “The Most Perfect Game”

GameSetWatch flags up this beautiful six-minute presentation by Infocom veteran and man-about-games Steve Meretzky.

It speaks for itself.

  1. Junior says:

Damnit, after a really long week of all those things, I was left wondering why the audience was laughing.

Then, after an age had passed…

Aww man, I replayed it last week!

  2. Mike says:

    Lovely. Where was that at?

  3. fluffy bunny says:

Quality stuff. And he’s so right.

  4. Dinger says:

Well, I’m assuming the design team can appreciate that kind of complement from the man who brought you A Mind Forever Voyaging, a game that failed as political commentary in the Reagan 80s, but became a classic in design. If they can’t, well, rumor has it Sarge was smoking Mindex long before he splattered on the terminal velocity achievement.

  5. leafdot says:

Did anybody else play Space Bar? That game kinda blew my mind in an idea-way back in the day. I never did beat it. But it’s sitting not ten feet from me, so maybe I will yet.

  6. Man Raised By Puffins says:

    Heh, nice.
