Wanna Show Your Game At Rezzed? Perhaps You Can!

he not-very-long road to the second Rezzed, the PC and indie games show we co-string-pull with the fine men, women and Bramwells of Eurogamer, continues apace. As well as buying tickets to attend the shindig – in Birmingham, UK on 22nd/23rd June this year, you can now submit your game for consideration in the Leftfield Collection. If you’ve made one, that is. And you are an independent developer. And it doesn’t include any content which will get you arrested.

The Leftfield section of the show is where the most weird, wonderful, obscure, brilliant, bonkers, headache-inducing, conversation-starting and so forth PC games can be found at what we’re quite sure is the UK’s cuddliest games event. The Leftfield Collection proved popular, successful and endearing last year, and hopefully this year it will be popularer, successfuller and endearinger.

To submit your (playable by June) game for consideration, please pop your details into this here page and someone will get back to you if it looks like a goer. Further Rezzed-in-general details are here.

Aw, Birmingham’s a lot further from my house in Brighton than, well, Brighton.

    • MadJax says:

Birminghams a lot closer to me than Brighton was last year, still well worth the trip after last years awesomeness :)

      • Surlywombat says:

Due to coastal erosion causing the coastline to move inland, and expansion of both Brighton and Birmingham boundaries due to the human tendency to live in communities. It is probable that Brighten and Birmingham are closer to each other than last year too.

        • waaaaaaaals says:

I believe the ultimate plan is to transport Brighton in it’s entirety to the the outskirts of Birmingham. Thus preserving the coastal town status by having it located on the “coast” of Birmingham.

  2. communisthamster says:

Will there be Rift devkits on show?

    • Nathan_G says:

This is a very good question… especially considering there’s bound to be quite a few indie games at the show that would suit the Rift.

  3. Earl Gray says:

Re-watching the Mud Wrestling Championship for nostalgia and John Walker based lols.

    • Jimmy says:

I wouldn’t miss it for that. Femen is rumoured to be unveiling their new ploy to end all forms of injustice.

  4. Bishop says:

Please please please say that it won’t have music piped out all over the place. The last one had such a nice atmosphere because of it. Eurogamer Expo does it and it’s pretty gaudy.

    • Keirley says:

100% agree. Went to Rezzed last year and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Then went to the Eurogamer Expo and left wishing it was Rezzed.
