Break It Down: Fragment

Our chums over at Indiegames spotted an interesting-looking freeware game out there in the open wild country of the internet. It’s called Fragment and has seen the light of day thanks to a busy team of Vancouver Film School students. It’s a stealth sort of thing where you can assimilate your enemies, deploy clones to distract them, and so forth. There’s a video of it running below, or you can just grab it here.

  1. Kefren says:

Reminds me a bit of System Shock – music, starting space. As if the hacker can hack augmented reality. (Doesn’t look as good as SS though!)

  2. Gap Gen says:

  3. Lagwolf says:

    I quite like it.

  4. Crimsoneer says:

That was rather good fun! It only has one trick, but it’s a cool one, and uses it rather well.

  6. LTK says:

I’m not convinced you can make a proper game out of a Decoy mechanic alone. Give those enemies some AI so they can tell that a figure appearing from thin air is not real; then we’ll talk.

  7. NothingFunny says:

HOLY BATNAM! This is really good, and the fact that its made by a small group of students in 4 months is quite amazing! Everyone should play it.

    Great job guys.
