Watch The Indiecade Quadrilateral Cowboy Trailer

Blendo Games’ Quadrilateral Cowboy fills me with 8-bit feelings. The latest trailer of the archaic hacking game (aka “Twentieth Century Cyberpunk”) has the kind of charm to it that few games can truly claim, complete with its totally lo-fi look. The latest trailer details some of the technologies you’ll be interacting with as you perform your dial-up espionage.

Go take a look.

The game has been scheduled for a 2013 release for a while now, but we’ve got no finer detail on that.

I wonder if this game could be used to encourage kids to get into computer building and White Hat hacking.

  2. Spacewalk says:

It looks like a game for squares.

  3. golem09 says:

    Do want.

  4. Gonefornow says:

This is the direction I would have taken with a “sequel” to gravitybone: more cool gadgets, spy operations, sneaking and infiltration; rather than fixating on weird linear storytelling.

Hopefully said activity is out of their system now so that this one won’t be adversely affected.

  5. staberas says:

STILL WAITING DAMMIT give me an actual release date.

  6. Zyrxil says:

So is this going to be a game-game, or an art-game like Thirty Flights of Loving? I would be a lot more hyped about this if I knew it was going to be Gunpoint-or-longer length, with lots of varied heists.

      It’s a game-game.
Click the tag to read more. It’s basically a hacking game where you REALLY hack, as in put in lines of code. The progress is made by simply showing the player more syntax hidden in the evironment and stuff.

  7. CelticPixel says:

My next most anticipated game, but no details of when it’s coming out yet :’ (

  8. Stevostin says:

    want this

  9. The Random One says:

Blendo’s worlds are strangely alluring, with their low-detail people and high-detail ramen wrappers.
