The Tenth RPS Christmas Cracker

***** The RPS team are currently in their winter hibernation state and will return on 4th January. In the meantime we didn’t want you to think we’d forgotten about you or the supporter program so we have hand-crafted a selection of the Bestest Best RPS Cracker Jokes. It’s also our way of giving you the “reveal” moment that we had to take out of this year’s advent calendar. We’ve made these posts open to all. Whether you celebrate or not we hope they raise a smile. Love, RPS xxx *****

  1. MiniMatt says:

    Mash Effect

  2. Rao Dao Zao says:

    Potato’s favourite Star Wars character?

    Wedge Antilles.

  3. Spacewalk says:

    A potato’s favourite game area?

  4. Shazbut says:

A potato’s favourite Hotline Miami character?

  5. Velko says:

    A potato’s favourite puzzla game?

    Portal 2.

Because it has a potato in it.

    • Firkragg says:

For this comment alone, the sins of the pun have been absolved.

    • SuicideKing says:

I thought the answer to the cracker was Portal 2…

  6. Wings says:

Ok, now see, professional cooking is my jam, it’s been a long time since I was tech. It’s also New Years so pardon my blood alcohol level and 13 hour shift. Croquettes are not at all contingent or exclusive to potatoes so booooo. Joke fail.

    • Wings says:

“What is a rough mince of anything you have handy formed into a patty and deep fried’s favorite game…”

    • AlexClockwork says:

This. I guessed you could make croquettes with potato, but it’s not the most obvious association by far.

Not that I expected a good pun. :-)

      • Risingson says:

Potato ones are just lazy. The real croquettes are made of bechamel and bits of meat from previous days meals. First paella, then croquettes. What is the next dish you want to colonialize and vanillize, english people?

        • AlexClockwork says:

That’s it. I mean, meat or whatever, but bechamel and other stuff. Not potatoes. English people are weird.

Weird thing is, even if I expected bad puns, this has been the first one to disappoint me. :-(

          • DM501 says:

I’m fairly sure potato croquettes aren’t English in origin. I know for a fact they can be found in Spain, and are common in Belgium.

Can’t say with any certainty when a potato filling was first originated, but I’m not sure you can place it at English feet. For one thing, croquettes are very recent in the country, relative to elsewhere in Europe.

  7. IJC says:

I was thinking “Super Mash Bros”. Your answer is only slightly better.

  8. asadlittlepotato says:

    “Nods gravely”

  9. Replikant says:

And just when I thought it couldn’t possibly get worse.

  10. GWOP says:

And a potato’s favorite single player game is Potatoman Seeks the Troof.
