Giveaway: 5000 Robocraft Starter Packs

Robocraft is a free-to-play, early access multiplayer game in which you build your (robo)craft – vehicles which drive or fly – and then control them in battle against other players. We’re giving away 5000 Starter Packs for the game, which includes three-day premium membership, an instant boost to level five, and the Mech Trooper Robot pictured above.

Here’s how Chris Livingston described the game when he wrote about it back in 2014:

Robocraft has a Space Engineers aesthetic and World of Tanks gameplay: put together tanks and airships out of cubes, then roll or fly into multiplayer battle. In between matches, fiddle with your design, use points earned during combat to buy more cubes or upgrade your tech tree, and thoughtfully drum your fingers on your mouse while trying to decide if you want to take out your wallet and wrap yourself in Robocraft’s dense fabric of microtransactions.

And here’s a trailer if you want to see it in action:

Hmmm getting Invalid Product Code when I enter the key in steam, anyone else having a problem ?

  2. Cinek says:

Just to highlight it: this code does not activate on Steam, you need to run Robocraft and redeem if from the game.

(Last code, for Fractured Space, activated on Steam itself – this one does not)

      Matchstick says:

Yeah I spotted that on my second reading through the instructions, but still couldn’t get the client to play nice, until it did… ah well :)

  3. TechnicalBen says:

Thanks! Will keep my eyes peeled on your Youtube. Will also check out the game. In the past, MineCraft, Kerbal Space Program and Space Engineers meant this game was just under the radar.

Never even realised it was Free to Play (read the news, but probably was busy and forgot :P ).

So will give it a go and see if I get a robot or a Rube Goldberg machine. ;)

  4. Zankman says:

IIRC it’s now more of a MOBA-esque game as opposed to just a deathmatch game, right?

    • LionsPhil says:

When I played it, it was basically all team deathmatch. Occasionally you could get a “boss” fight, which was a bunch of low-level players against once high-level player.

Have they removed the godawful misfiring kiddie-hacker anticheat from it yet?

    • TechnicalBen says:

      It’s strange. That’s for sure.

Plays too much like a F2P games and less like a “game”. :(

Are you sure these giveaways are exclusive to your blog? They seem to run out too fast.
