Man Vs. Murderbot In Hitman Summer Bonus Episode

Ian Hitman is having a summer staycation in July with the Summer Bonus Episode, publishers Square Enix have announced. Why a staycation? While Hitman [official site] episodes so far have added new areas, the Summer Bonus Episode will revisit Marrakesh and Sapienza for new murdermissions. He’ll be offing a mole in Morocco and in Sapienza, well! Seems a film crew is in town with a honking great robot and a knock-off Iron Man, and someone needs to break more than just a leg.

Technically these two missions are separate from the main campaign, set back in the day when Ian visited Sapienza and Marrakesh for the very first time.

“When the town of Sapienza is taken over by a film crew shooting a new sci-fi blockbuster. Agent 47 must aim to retire one of the cast members during a climactic scene being staged late at night in the town square,” say IO about new mission The Icon. Maybe you can murder people with that giant murderbot? That’d be something.

As for A House Built on Sand, they say “Set at the frenetic night markets in Marrakesh, a mole for a major construction company is about to sell secrets to their largest rivals. Agent 47 is tasked with making sure the leak stops there.”

The Summer Bonus will also bring new Challenges and Opportunities for both places. If you’re grumbly about re-using old locations, well, the final three episodes will each bring new areas when they arrive later this year: Thailand, the USA, then finally Japan.

This? This is just a few warm-up stretches for summer:
