Telltale’s Batman Episode 3 Gets Two-Faced On The 25th

You’ll never guess what: Batman’s mate Harvey has gone a bit funny. He’s always fiddling with change in his pocket and staring intently at coins, but you’ll never see him buying a cup of tea, Cornetto, or can or Irn-Bru. You’ll even catch him muttering at coins, as if he’s crushing on Lady Liberty. Give over Harv, you ol’ horndog! Batman and his secret bestie Bruce Wayne will be figuring out how to broach this difficult subject with Harv in the third episode of Telltale’s episodic Batman [official site], which Telltale have announced will launch on October 25th.

Batman, if you don’t know, is another episodic story adventure in the Telltale way, big on choices and lasting consequences. This includes, seemingly, changing the fates of characters well-established in years of stories (she says, dancing around spoilers).

Here’s what Telltale say is going on in New World Order, the third of five episodes:

“In Episode 3, Penguin’s brutal attack broadcast on live TV has left Gotham City reeling. As Bruce and Batman, you’ll dig deeper into the web of intrigue surrounding the newly revealed Children of Arkham. Meanwhile, behind closed doors, the mysterious Selina Kyle reveals more of herself to Bruce. And in the aftermath of the attack, Bruce’s friend and Gotham’s new mayor, Harvey Dent, is a deeply changed man. Who can be trusted when the future of Bruce Wayne – and the Batman – could be determined by the flip of a coin?”

You can see a bit of Harv in the latest episode of Telltale’s Batshow. Skip to the 39-minute mark for that:

Mate, come on, spend that dollar on a Double Decker – it’ll cheer you right up. Wait. Maybe that’s a bit too… Toblerone, maybe?

I am shocked. SHOCKED. By this twist.

The twist is that the twist does not need to twist and shock you. I am extremely interested in seeing how that will play out.

Ugh. Another zombie game. When will it end?
