Best PC gaming deals of the week

This week was packed pretty full of deals on games. Easter sales happened in a variety of places, Bayonetta was surprise-launched on Steam and discounted swiftly after and there’s a brand new set of Humble Monthly offers. All that and we’re crawling ever closer to the release date of Full Throttle Remastered. It’s an exciting time to play video games. As usual, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

Giveaway time!

Over at Jelly Deals, we’ve got a pair of competition giveaway thingys running this weekend. If you’d like to be in with a chance of winning either, follow the links below and you can do just that. Firstly, the kind folks at GOG.com have given us 100 GOG.com keys for Neverwinter Nights Diamond to give out. To be in with a chance of winning one of them, check out this link.

Bayonetta was announced, released and discounted all within 24 hours this week. If you haven’t yet grabbed yourself a copy of this relatively insane brawler from PlatinumGames, you can get it with 20% off at Bundle Stars, where it’ll cost you £12.10 / $16.14 / €16.14 using code EASTER5 at checkout.

GOG.com has a couple of sales going on at once this week. Firstly, the latest installment in the site’s ongoing weekly sales (which has been running since the beginning of the year) features discounts on Tropico 5, Dungeons 2, Omerta and more. You can find that range on the below link.

If you like your games to be a bit more D&D influenced, you may want to check out GOG’s Dungeons and Dragons sale instead, where you can grab Neverwinter Nights 2, Forgotten Realms, Icewind Dale 2 and more, all with up to 80% off.

Green Man Gaming’s Easter Sale

There are a whole bunch of offers from Humble this week, so I’ll do my best to break them down into manageable chunks here. Firstly, the site is offering up a range of Survival-focused games as a part of its imaginatively titled Survival Week sale. Here are some highlights:

Conan Exiles for £21.59 / $23.99 / €23.99
Astroneer for £14.16 / $17.99 / €17.99
The Long Dark for £7.49 / $9.99 / €9.99

Space hulk Ascension
Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity

Pay more than the average to unlock

Last but not least, Humble’s Monthly subscription games have changed now that it’s April somehow. If you subscribe now for $12 (£10-ish), you’ll get instant access to DiRT Rally as well as the now-BAFTA-winning Inside from PlayDead. By the end of the month, you’ll get a stack of other Steam keys, too. The Humble folks say you can cancel at anytime without trouble, too, which is nice.

US Deals

If you’re the type to use a controller and the type to own a PC that uses Windows 10 as an operating system, this one’s for you. Best Buy is currently clearing out stock of Xbox One wireless controllers bundled up with the USB wireless adapters that allow the controller to be used on Windows 10-enabled PCs. The pair will cost you $33.99 while stock lasts and is currently the cheapest way to get one of these controllers.

Playing Typing of the Dead: Overkill, especially when you install a few of the optional downloadable dictionaries (yes, I’m mostly referring to the ‘Filth’ one full of swears), is a truly unique experience. That experience can be yours right now for $5 if you head to GameStop US and grab the Steam version of the game from the site.

With that, we’re done for another week. Keep in mind that deals, prices and availability can change at the drop of a hat, so apologies if you miss out on something you wanted. I’ll be over at Jelly Deals, scouring the world wide web for more deals. Feel free to visit, or follow us on Twitter and give us a like on Facebook.

Did you know that Jelly Deals has launched a newsletter? It lets us bring the best deals directly to you each day. Subscribe here, if that seems like your kind of thing.
