Selling In: Some personal thoughts on selling RPS

It was almost exactly ten years ago at this time that Jim Rossignol first mooted the idea that we could start our own site. In 2007 all four of us - Jim, Kieron Gillen, Alec Meer and me - were freelancers with ten years experience behind us. Jim and Kieron had worked for PC Gamer, Alec for PC Format, and I'd always been freelance from the start, but we'd written for a huge range of magazines and websites. We were relatively well-known names in a small industry, with Kieron "New Games Journalism" Gillen obviously being the more famous, and pondered that maybe this was something we could get away with.
