Podcast: The Electronic Wireless Show talks Caveblazers, The Witcher 3, and Orcs Must Die

Jingle jingle, it’s the RPS podcast, the Electronic Wireless Show. This week we discuss the ongoing Steam summer sale and bare our respective piles of shame. Editor-at-arms Graham also joins us to talk about spelunking roguelike Caveblazers, while Pip takes on the free-to-play Orcs Must Die! Unchained and Brendan marches on with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

But wait! There’s also an interview with the creators of “roguevania” Dead Cells, and we take some questions from listeners too. But most importantly, we introduce some extra jingles from our music man, Jack. Come and listen, educate yourself.

You can listen above on Soundcloud or download it for later. You can also get the RSS feed here or find it on iTunes, Stitcher or Pocket Casts. Jinglesome music is by Jack de Quidt.

  1. Jack says:

While listening to this podcast, I was playing Spelunky. And Caveblazers is actually in my steam wishlist and I should probably pick it up before the 20% discount is gone.

    But I kept wondering.
How good is Graham actually in Spelunky
And how difficult could those bosses in Caveblazers possible be.
I remember that when I was just a wee lad that gold statue would crush me every time because I did not think of the necessity to just carry a lot of bombs. And now it is for me one of the easiest bosses ever.
The same thing happened when I saw people conducting in wizardry when they whipped an arrow into submission.

Are there any similarities to Caveblazers in that regard aswell?

  2. Lacessit says:

I really like the jingles! They’re lovely and beautiful.

  3. Dorga says:

    Graham try Catacomb Kids!

  4. SoundDust says:

I heard Graham say “wooden leg platformer” and now I want to play one.

Yay for more of the nice jingles!
