Best PC gaming deals of the week

Folks, it’s the first Friday of February, which should really allow me to get away with alliteration-based puns but I fear they have already begun to outstay their welcome. Frak. Nevertheless, you’ve all hopefully been paid by now, so it might be time to treat yourself to something nice, in the way of a digital game here or there. With that in mind, it’s time to check out another batch of deals from the past week or so. So let’s do just that.

Humble Rockstar

Head to Humble this week and you’ll be able to pick up one of its biggest bundles yet. The Rockstar Humble Bundle offers up – as you may as figured out already – a large set of Rockstar’s games, including Bully, Manhunt, L.A. Noire and more. Here’s the lowdown:

Pay $1 or more
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Grand Theft Auto 3
Max Payne

Pay more than the average
Bully Scholarship Edition
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
L.A. Noire
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne

Pay $15 (about £10) or more
L.A. Noire DLC Bundle
Grand Theft Auto 4

Max Payne 3 with Rockstar Pass

Pay what you want for the Humble Rockstar Games Bundle

This week’s batch of games in GOG’s weekly sale is mostly made up of adventure titles, with some nice strategy and rhythm action games sprinkled in there for good measure. Highlights include, Virginia for £2.09, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons for £8.49, BIT.TRIP Runner for £1.09 or its sequel for £1.69, Transistor for £3.79, and Clustertruck for £3.79, to name a few.

Up to 90% off the GOG weekly sale

This is the last chance to pick up this month’s Humble Monthly subscription and get yourself copies of Civilization 6, two DLC packs and Owlboy, along with a whole set of games in a matter of days, all for £10 / $12. Better still, if you sign up for a 12-month subscription, you’ll get a voucher for $20 off a purchase in the store.

It’s Sega Week over at Fanatical, with a brand new deal featured each day out of a pool of Sega-published titles. Alien Isolation, Total War Warhammer, Football Manager 2018 and Company of Heroes all feature while the offer lasts.

While you’re over there, you could also take a look at Fanatical’s current ‘Star Deal’, which is a fancy title for a 24-hour only deal on a specific game. This time, it’s indie adventure game Last Day Of June, which is 56% off, reduced down to £6.59 for the next few hours.

Green Man Gaming’s truly terribly titled ‘Playday Games’ sale range is still alive and kicking for the time being, and you can save an extra 20% on a whole bunch of those games by entering the code PAYDAY at checkout.

For the next day, you can grab a copy of Ark: Survival Evolved – which is a fully released game now – with 60% off as part of a limited-time deal from Humble. It’ll cost you £19.99 / $23.99, which leaves you enough money left to eBay a CD single of Was (Not Was)’s ‘Walk The Dinosaur’.

Okay, we’re done for another week. Keep in mind that deals, prices and availability can change at the drop of a hat, so apologies if you miss out on something you wanted. I’ll be over at Jelly Deals, scouring the world wide web for more deals. Feel free to visit, or follow us on Twitter and give us a like on Facebook.

Did you know that Jelly Deals has launched a newsletter? It lets us bring the best deals directly to you each day. Subscribe here, if that seems like your kind of thing.

    LA Noire VR?
Any opportunity to post this is a good opportunity:

    • Vandelay says:

Love it. I am particularly pleased to see that I’m not the only one that spends much of their time dancing around in VR when (hopefully) no one is looking.

    • Henke says:

Was disappointed to not see an actual LA Noire VR sale in the list, but seeing this video (again) makes up for it.

    • marlowe_PE says:

Laughed like a horse. I want more, Phelps

    • matsey says:

That should come with a NSFW disclaimer as I was having to stifle laughing out loud for that video and spitting tea everywhere.

Greenmangaming has lower prices on some games, but their vouchers don’t work on all games. Luckily, they sent an email with the voucher “justforyou” that worked on a game where the “payday” voucher didn’t work.

You can almost never combine the two in one purchase, for obvious reasons, so of course that’s what I tried.

The funny part isn’t that it worked having two vouchers active at the same time, but that I got a better discount when I only used the “justforyou” voucher.

I got Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Digital Deluxe Edition (contains all DLC) and the Bioshock collection (all Bioshock games and all DLC) for 17,67 GBP, which I consider a very good deal.

Apart from arks price which should be way lower that’s just how games should be released at, price wise. lol
