Man alive, it’s all go over in Black Friday and Cyber Monday land right now, isn’t it? The hot UK deal of this particular hour goes to the Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 56 Pulse, which is down to just £300 over at Overclockers UK. That’s a saving of £100 off its usual price. What’s more, AMD’s doing a nice, shiny new game bundle to make it even sweeter.
It was a sad day when AMD’s autumn three free games bundle came to an end at the beginning of November, but this new one is arguably even better. Instead of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Strange Brigade and Star Control: Origins, AMD’s new bundle includes free copies of Devil May Cry 5, The Division 2 and Resident Evil 2 as and when they get released. That’s pretty great as far as free game bundles go, and a lot more generous than Nvidia’s selected Monster Hunter: World deal.
As for the Vega 56 itself, this graphics card is an absolute steal at this price. With fantastic 1440p chops and a teensy bit of 4K, this is essentially the AMD equivalent of Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1070 and GTX 1070Ti. It’s not currently on our official best graphics card list, all told, but that’s because it’s usually a lot more expensive than its GTX competition. At £300, though, that’s probably as good as it’s going to get for near-perfect 60fps performance on max settings at 2560×1440 resolutions.
If you’re after a more 4K capable card, however, then there’s even better news, as Overclockers are also doing Sapphire’s Radeon RX Vega 64 Nitro+ card for just £399 at the moment, which is another £100 off its normal price of £500. Even better, it comes with the same three free games deal I’ve just described above, making it even better value than its closest Nvidia rival, the GTX 1080 (which isn’t included in Nvidia’s Monster Hunter bundle, I might add).
As always, there will be more graphics card deals cropping up over the coming week (Black Friday is next Friday, in case you’ve forgotten), so make sure to keep an eye on our Black Friday and Cyber Monday: Best graphics card deals for all the latest discounts.
