Fortnite challenges: Week 3, doorbell locations, zipline locations, ski lodges

Featured post Season 7 Week 3 challenges

Week 3 of Season 7 for Fortnite sees us looking for doorbells to ring, riding ziplines across the map, and searching the ski lodges for more loot to kill enemies with. There’s still a couple of skill-based challenges to kill your opponents, one of which requires a legendary weapon to pull off. This guide will detail how to complete the challenges for this third week, as well as provide the locations for ziplines, the doorbells, and the ski lodges.

Fortnite Season 7 Week 3 challenges guide

With the game being the global sensation that it is, there’s a lot to learn about not only getting that all-important “Victory Royale”, but also the changes to the map as the seasons progress, and the challenges you can seek to complete. Head over to our Fortnite guide hub for every single thing you need to get started. Alternatively, you can head back to our Fortnite weekly challenges guide for an overview of all the weekly challenges for this Season in Fortnite.

Season 7 Week 3 Free challenge: Ride ziplines in 5 matches

One of the newer features in Fortnite is the zipline – a cool way to descend down the mountain tops. You just need to do this once in each of the five matches required. They’re pretty much everywhere on the map, but the highest concentration is in the new snow biome.

Season 7 Week 3 Free challenge: Land in five different areas in order

Another multi-stage challenge, and a remarkably simple one. Just land in the five locations listed below, making sure that you finish the matches played naturally (winning or dying) rather than quitting the game as soon as you land.

  • Stage 1 – Lonely Lodge
  • Stage 2 – Pleasant Park
  • Stage 3 – Lucky Landing
  • Stage 4 – Lazy Links
  • Stage 5 – Tilted Towers

Season 7 Week 3 Free challenge: Two eliminations with legendary weapons

Just kill two players with legendary weapons. These are the gold-coloured ones that are usually incredibly powerful. They’re the least likely to spawn at loot locations, but are more likely to be found in chests, and even gold vending machines which can be obtained for 375 material of a particular kind. If you somehow come across a Supply Drop, they have a decent chance of spawning there, so carefully go for it if you see it.

Finding the Battle Star in the Fortnite map

Season 7 Week 3 Battle Pass challenge: Search between three ski lodges

This challenge is a scavenger mission and requires you to find an item in a specific point in the map. This is towards the south-western part of the map (between B9 and C9) where there’s a big central lodge with two others nearby. A short way down the hill towards the south, you’ll see some trees, along with a Battle Star glistening within. Clear the area and pick up the star.

Season 7 Week 3 Battle Pass challenge: Search chests in either Polar Peak or Tomato Temple

Another looting based challenge, though this one can be completed in multiple games. Just loot seven chests in either location to obtain the reward. For maximum protection, try to land somewhere on the edge of that region and keep out of harms way. Polar Peak seems the safer of the two in my experience with it, but your mileage may vary.

Ringing the doorbell in Snobby Shores

Season 7 Week 3 Ring the doorbell in two different locations in a single match.

A returning challenge of sorts, requiring you to ring two doorbells in two different locations. These can be any doorbells for any of the houses in the area, and they’re fairly large square buttons next to the front door. You can’t really miss them. The biggest challenge is surviving the trip from one area to another, before ringing the next doorbell, so try to have some people with you to try and cover you. Failing that, a speedy vehicle can be the answer, so head to our Fortnite vehicles guide for more on the various vehicles in the game. Below are the locations that are applicable for this challenge:

  • Pleasant Park
  • Snobby Shores
  • Salty Springs
  • Retail Row
  • Paradise Palms
  • Tomato Temple (not recommended really as there’s only one house)

Season 7 Week 3 Battle Pass challenge: Stage Challenge – Weapon damage

The final challenge of week 3 is a damage based one. You’ll need to deal a set amount of damage to your enemies using certain weapons, in the order shown below. To find out more about the weapons themselves, head to our Fortnite weapons guide.

  • Stage 1 – Shotguns
  • Stage 2 – Pistols
  • Stage 3 – Sniper Rifles

This concludes Season 7 Week 3 guide, but there’s plenty more challenges to complete in Season 7. If you missed the previous week’s challenges, check out our Season 7 Week 2 challenges guide. Next up are the challenges featured in Season 7 Week 4 challenges, so be sure to check them out to complete those challenges.
