With the dawn of the futuristic setting of Fortnite’s ninth season, there are a few new additions to the map. One of the most striking are the slipstream rings that hurtle you around the map like a sci-fi monorail. There are three in total, one that covers a large distance, and two that circle around two particular areas of the map. We’ll tell you where to find the slipstreams and what you need to do to finish this short challenge.
With the game being the global sensation that it is, there’s a lot to learn about not only getting that all-important “Victory Royale”, but also the changes to the map as the seasons progress, and the challenges you can seek to complete. Head over to our Fortnite guide hub for every single thing you need to get started. Alternatively, you can head back to our Fortnite week 6 challenges guide for an overview of all the weekly challenges for this Season in Fortnite.
Fortnite Ride the Slipstream locations guide
This guide shows you the locations of all seven of the Sky Platforms, as well as detailed information about each individual location and how to get up to the Sky Platform from ground level.
Above is the map showing both of the locations of the slipstreams. They’re in Neo Tilted and Mega Mall respectfully, and essentially circle around both locations. The main slipstream route also passes by both of these locations, so you could use that to travel quickly to each location. You only need to visit each one of the slipstreams and use it, rather than do an entire lap of the area.
Neo Tilted Slipstream
Tilted Towers is no more, but on its ashes rises Neo Tilted – a similar looking city with higher sky rises and a whole lot of slipstream rings. The main station for the slipstreams can be accessed from the east of the location, though the rings pass between multiple buildings, so you should be able to fling yourself towards them with no issues.
Mega Mall Slipstream
Formerly known as Retail Row, Mega Mall is what happened after the reconstruction effort after the previous season’s volcanic event annihilated the area. It’s a little harder to enter into the slipstream as the rings are a little higher up, but there is a station towards the south of the location that is easily accessible. Alternatively the main slipstream route passes close to a few of the rings, so you can enter from there.
This concludes our Slipstream locations guide for Season 9 of Fortnite. There are plenty more challenges to complete. You can find out more about the other challenge, which asks you to visit the seven Sky Platforms that have suddenly appeared in the map, in our Fortnite Sky Platform locations guide.
