Even though Season 9 has done away with the pirate theme, there have been challenges that have required you to use some air vents, similar to the ones in Season 8. These vents propel anyone who jumps into them into the air. While the initial challenge only required that you interact with a single vent per game, the latest one wants five in different matches. So we’ve put all the vents we’ve discovered so far into a map for your convenience.
Fortnite air vents location guide
With the game being the global sensation that it is, there’s a lot to learn about not only getting that all-important “Victory Royale”, but also the changes to the map as the seasons progress, and the challenges you can seek to complete. Volcano vents locations
The air vents are only found in Loot Lake and Neo Tilted, so head there at the beginning of a match and jump on one. They’re usually on top of buildings and you only need to jump on one every game for it to count towards your progress. This can be the same one in each match if you so wish.
Tips for using the volcano vents
Before we go, we thought we’d include a few little tips about using the volcano vents that you should be aware of.
- When jumping into the vent, you’ll be thrown a short distance upwards. You can deploy a glider as you reach closer to the ground if you want to get away.
- The glider you deploy as you fall from this state does count towards your glider inventory.
This concludes our air vent locations guide, but there’s plenty more challenges to complete in Season 8. You can find out the locations of the three items you need to find in our Fortnite oversized phone, big piano, and giant dancing fish trophy locations guide, , or you can check out our Fortnite Sky Platform locations guide to see where all of the Sky Platforms are in the map.
