Best PC gaming deals of the week - 8th November 2019

Cheap games, games and more games

Featured post Get your best games deals fresh out the oven!

Blessed day, fellow deals hunters. The chilly November winds may be kicking up a storm outside, but finally, after days of patches, unexpectedly quitting launchers, your deals herald has finally got Red Dead Redemption 2 working on her PC. And to celebrate this most yeehaw of rootin’ tootin’ days, I come bearing Red Dead 2-based deals (at least if you’re in the UK). Fear not, though, as there are plenty more savings to be had in this week’s best PC gaming deals, including the entire Dark Souls franchise, The Banner Saga, Borderlands 3 and loads more. To the deals!

Game deals

That’s right, folks. It’s Red Dead time this week, and what better way to start the biggest and bestest best cowboy game with 5% off from the folks over at GamesPlanet? There’s also 5% off the special edition of the game, as well as 5% off the ultimate edition too. The former gives you extra story content, a special breed of horse, the Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger outfit, plus a bunch of cash bonuses and additional weapons, while the latter gives you everything I just mentioned plus bonus outfits for Red Dead Online, rank bonuses, another special horse breed and the Survivor Camp Theme. Alas, the 5% discount is only available for those buying from the UK, but at least it helps take the edge off a bit.

Elsewhere on GamesPlanet, you can also find 57% off Dark Souls Remastered, 78% off Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and 79% off Dark Souls III‘s deluxe edition, as well as 77% off Cities: Skylines and 27% off Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition.

Fanatical are also doing 5% off the cowboy game (as well as 5% off its special edition and 5% off the ultimate edition, although once again this offer is limited to those in the UK (sorry US pals).

Instead, you’ll have to content yourself with a tasty 60% off Vampyr, or how about 25% off A Plague Tale: Innocence? There’s also 10% off Borderlands 3, 14% off The Surge 2, and 15% off Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. There’s also still 15% off Blasphemous as well as a rather nice 17% off Indivisible. And if that’s not enough, then how about 21% off Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair?

Humble do not have any deals on the cowboy game (I really don’t know where that header image came from), but they do have a big Versus Evil Publisher sale on this weekend, which means big savings on games like The Banner Saga (80% off), as well as 80% off The Banner Saga 2 and 50% off The Banner Saga 3. There’s also 50% off Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire and 67% off Antihero.

There’s also lots of deals to be had on various Warhammer games this weekend, including 66% off Total War: Warhammer II, 75% off Warhammer: Vermintide 2‘s collector’s edition, and 50% off Warhammer: Chaosbane‘s Magnus edition to name just a few.

Honestly, I don’t know where these cowboy pics keep coming from, because GOG definitely don’t have deals on the cowboy game. What they do have, though, is a giant XSeed sale to celebrate the publisher’s anniversary. In it, you can find 70% off the excellent (if brutally difficult) Little King’s Story as well as all the Ys and The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and Trails of Cold Steel games you could possibly want. Seriously, there are too many to list individually so click that main link above and go have a gander.

Elsewhere in GOG’s midweek sale, there are some sweet savings to be had on Slime Rancher (50% off), as well as 33% off Supraland, 33% off Donut County, 80% off Never Alone‘s Arctic collection (which includes the Foxtales DLC and the game’s soundtrack), 40% off Pikuniku, and 60% off Furi. And to celebrate Dragon Age’s anniversary the other day, there’s also 75% off Dragon Age Origins.

UK / US hardware deals:

As Black Friday and Cyber Monday draws ever closer, I’d advise against spending loads of money on new hardware right now, as you’ll almost certainly find whatever you’re hoping to buy is a lot cheaper in a couple of weeks’ time.

That’s all for this week’s deals heralding. As always, some of these deals may get snapped up pretty fast, so apologies if some of these have already gone by the time you click on them. Until next week, happy hunting!
