Best Bullfrog loadout and class setup in Warzone

The best Bullfrog class.

The Bullfrog is a really nice SMG with a high magazine capacity and some really strong range properties. It beats out the PP19 Bizon in most departments, and works really well as a versatile, powerful submachine gun. Get on the Bullfrog train early - I reckon it’ll become a big deal in the future. To help you out, here’s the best Warzone Bullfrog loadout.

How to unlock the Bullfrog in Warzone

If you’ve only just started playing, you’ll need to wait a bit and level up before you can unlock the Bullfrog. It’s usable once you hit level 43.

Best Bullfrog loadout in Warzone

The Bullfrog can be used in a few different ways. For this guide, I’ve put together a loadout you can use with the Bullfrog that makes it superb at all ranges and extremely versatile, as well as one better used for close-range brutality. Take your pick!

Best all-round Bullfrog loadout in Warzone

This is my favourite Bullfrog loadout in Warzone. It’s got a surprisingly fast time to kill close up, and from a distance it still holds its own provided you hit your shots. Of course, :

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor (Level 46)
  • Barrel: 7.4” Task Force (Level 39)
  • Optic: Microflex LED (Level 22)
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip (Level 41)
  • Ammunition: 65 Rnd (Level 8)

So, as usual we’ve gone for the suppressor and barrel which boost bullet velocity and damage range. This balanced Bullfrog loadout has the 7.4” Task Force barrel and GRU Suppressor, which is functionally the same as using the Monolithic or Agency suppressors on other guns. The Task Force barrel even boosts your strafe speed a little bit, and that extra mobility is super helpful in those tight spots where you need to get under cover or 1v1 an enemy.

I enjoy using the Microflex LED optic, but basically use whichever reflex sight works best for you. The Bullfrog’s iron sights are a tad messy in my opinion, and if you want to stay on target at medium ranges you’ll want to find a nice middle ground.

Speaking of staying on target, the Spetsnaz Grip is really good for mitigating any recoil control issues caused by your Task Force barrel. It makes the gun so, so much easier to control (at the cost of mobility). Finally, I’ve put on a 65 Rnd magazine, which is huge for an SMG. There are even larger options, but this loadout is a balanced one so we don’t want to ruin ADS speed and movement too harshly.

Best close-range Bullfrog loadout in Warzone

Want to run the Bullfrog like a classic SMG? Low range, only up-close shredding? Well, its damage properties make this a real possibility, so let’s spec it out for that:

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor (Level 46)
  • Barrel: 7.4” Task Force (Level 39)
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock (Level 54)
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip (Level 33)
  • Ammunition: Fast Mag (Level 16)

Regardless of anything, you still want the GRU Suppressor. That bullet velocity helps at all ranges, and can be the difference between hitting and not hitting your shots close up. It also keeps you off the map, which means you won’t get flanked by baddies while you’re taking them out.

The 7.4” Task Force barrel also helps your bullet velocity and strafe speed, and you won’t need to worry as much about the recoil control issues at the ranges you’ll be challenging at.

Now’s where the changes come in. The KGB Skeletal Stock is brilliant for your movement speed, making your sprint-out time faster and your movement speed while firing lightning quick. Along with the strafe speed boost of your barrel, you can run absolute rings around your foes while shooting them down. There’s also the Bruiser Grip which further improves your movement speed (with a little hip-fire help too).

Finally, I’ve picked the Fast Mag ahead of the extended mag. You already have 50 bullets in your chamber, and it’s likely you’ll be able to get kills at closer ranges without the extra 15 shots. However, it’s a stronger possibility that you’ll be caught short mid-reload, so the Fast Mag lets you minimise the chances of this, as you’ll probably end up in multiple quick engagements in a short amount of time.

Secondary weapon

For both of these loadouts, I’ve picked out an LMG as the ideal secondary. It’s super fun trundling around with a Stoner 63 or PKM to take massive chunks out of enemies from miles away before whipping out your Bullfrog to finish them off with ease.

Of course, feel free to use a sniper with your mid-range build too - I find it fun to use as a backup to my quick Kar98k loadout.

Best Bullfrog loadout with Perks and Equipment

For your Bullfrog loadout, you’ll need to pick your Perks and Equipment carefully. Here’s what you’re after:

  • Perk 1: EOD
  • Perk 2: Overkill/High Alert
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

EOD can save your life against chumps firing at you with RPGs, and is often the difference between victory and defeat. That’s reason enough to run it. Your second perk should be Overkill so you can get your LMG or sniper, but after that try out High Alert. It’s becoming more and more popular in Warzone, and rightly so! Getting off of Heartbeat Sensors and UAVs is great with Ghost, but knowing when someone’s aiming at you is really helpful, particularly late-game and especially since not many people run Cold Blooded these days. Our final perk is Amped, because swapping weapons quickly is a really strong ability that can’t be overstated. Enemies rocking up unexpected might not have time to burn you if you switch to the Bullfrog and burn them first.

With equipment, I’ve picked the Semtex grenade. It’s fantastic for pushing buildings and finishing enemies trying to armour up after taking a couple hits. They’re faster to use with Amped too. For the tactical, a Heartbeat Sensor is good here. Of course, if your teammates are already using one and can relay the information well, feel free to grab a Stun Grenade instead, but the Heartbeat info is extremely useful in Warzone.
