Best Stoner 63 loadout and class setup in Warzone

The top Stoner 63 loadout.

You’ll probably hear a lot of talk about the Stoner 63 in Warzone these days. Things like ‘this is the best LMG in the game’, and ‘wow, I sure do love using the Stoner 63’. Well, if you’re feeling left out from all the high-power LMG action, this guide on the best Stoner 63 loadout in Warzone is here to save the day.

How to unlock the Stoner in Warzone

You probably already have access to the Stoner 63 unless you’ve only just got the game - it’s unlocked by ranking up to level 4.

Best Stoner 63 loadout in Warzone

You can use the Stoner 63 in a few different ways. Obviously, the most reliable way is with a long barrel and recoil-reducing attachments so you can beam everyone from miles away, but if you’re feeling versatile you can make it a mid-range assault rifle-type gun to work as sniper support. Here’s the loadouts to pick.

Best ranged Stoner 63 loadout in Warzone

The super long-range Stoner 63 is made entirely to remove recoil as much as possible. Long ol’ barrels, big silencers, and sturdy grips all round - here’s the attachments to use:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor (Level 46)
  • Barrel: 20.7” Match Grade (Level 39)
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x (Level 7)
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip (Level 41)
  • Ammunition: 120 Rnd (Level 8)
This ranged Stoner 63 loadout uses the Agency Suppressor, 20.7 inch match grade, Axial Arms 3x, field agent grip, and 120 round mags

The Agency Suppressor is an all-timer, and needs to be on your Stoner. It’s tough to survive if you’re constantly on the enemy radar, and the Agency Suppressor boosts your range and bullet velocity too, making it absolutely incredible on this gun.

For the barrel, we’ve got the 20.7” Match Grade, as it increases your damage range the most possible without ruining your recoil pattern. Sure, your sprint speed is decreased, but you shouldn’t be lugging this thing around when you’re relocating around the map anyway - just switch to your other weapon.

The Axial Arms 3x is a comfy scope for this gun’s purposes, but feel free to break out the Royal & Kross 4x if you fancy that little bit of extra magnification. The issue with that one is the default reticule, so if you can change (under ‘customise’) it then put on a cleaner scope.

The Field Agent Grip decreases your recoil even further, making this a fantastic option for a ranged build. It’s a super easy recoil plot to get used to, and requires minimal adjustment. Finally, the 120 Rnd magazine is a sweet addition. It doesn’t damage anything about the gun and significantly boosts your ammo capacity, which is helpful considering the Stoner 63’s pretty hefty reload time.

Best mid-range/sniper support Stoner 63 loadout in Warzone

I love a good old Kar98k or LW3 - Tundra loadout, but the secondary weapon to use is always a difficult decision. Why not toss a Stoner 63 on there? This one is decked out for slightly more mobility whilst still packing a punch at range:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor (Level 46)
  • Barrel: 17.8” Cavalry Lancer (Level 13)
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x (Level 7)
  • Stock: Raider Pad (Level 54)
  • Underbarrel: SFOD Speedgrip (Level 50)
This sniper support Stoner 63 uses the agency suppressor, 17.8 inch cavalry lancer, axial arms 3x, raider pad, and SFOD speedgrip

So, we still have the optic and Agency Suppressor on there - that’s just too important and I’m not the biggest fan of the Stoner’s iron sights. If you are into them, feel free to chuck 120 Rnd Mags back onto the gun though.

The tweaks with this loadout come in a few forms. The 17.8” Cavalry Lancer is actually a fantastic barrel which boosts strafe speed, range, and bullet velocity, but is still best used closer up due to its damage to your recoil patterns. That does make it perfect for this purpose though.

The Raider Pad makes your movement speed faster when aiming and firing, but I picked it ahead of the SAS Combat Stock because of its boost to sprint-out time - no one wants to get caught short when trying to sprint around the map faster. The SFOD Speedgrip is the final addition to this iteration of the Stoner 63 - it isn’t quite as good at recoil control as Field Agent, but its sprint speed boost makes up for that in this loadout.

Secondary weapon

Obviously for the sniper support class you should pick a sniper like the HDR. However, the loadout with range at the forefront would be well-served with a more close-range weapon like the FFAR 1 or a nice Bullfrog loadout.

Best Stoner 63 loadout with Perks and Equipment

Here’s the best Perks and Equipment to pick with the Stoner 63:

  • Perk 1: EOD
  • Perk 2: Overkill/Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Claymore
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

I’ve got EOD on here to make sure you don’t get destroyed by a Semtex or Proximity Mines when you’re finding a vantage point. The perk has saved me with a sliver of health remaining on more than one occasion. Of course, Overkill is great to get your weapons on deck, but if we’re already sorted with a secondary, Ghost remains great, especially if you’re trying to lock down areas with your Stoner 63 without getting spotted on radar. Finally, Amped is especially important with this gun, as it speeds up weapon swap time which is painfully slow normally.

I’ve actually gone for the Claymore on this loadout. Sometimes you need to lock a building down and camp it! There’s no shame in that and there’s no shame in using mines to help out. If you don’t fancy it that’s cool, just bring a Thermite out instead. I like Heartbeat Sensor with this loadout too - too often people without Ghost will try to get the drop on you and the Heartbeat is the perfect way to counter them.

There you go! Enjoy the Stoner 63 in Warzone! If you aren’t enjoying it, pick a different one from out Warzone best guns tier list, and feel free to use our help on unlocking the R1 Shadowhunter crossbow in Warzone.
