Getting stuck into a new Hearthstone meta can be an intimidating prospect for many players. If you're a new player you might want to get involved in the latest and greatest deck creations, but find yourself with limited crafting dust to spend. Even veterans of the game can struggle to keep up with a big drop of new cards.

Throw into all of that a huge amount of uncertainty about how the meta will actually look even a fortnight after launch, and it can be tempting to simply sit on the sidelines. To help you get a piece of the action without risking too much though, we wanted to highlight a handful of budget Boomsday deck lists that should still give you a taste of the new archetypes.

Even though these decks don't cost quite as much as the top-tier versions, we still advise exercising a little caution in what you craft. There are always some hyped-up archetypes that never really take off, but if you've opened the cards in question then there's no harm in taking them out for a spin in the early days.

Now that the launch window is behind us we've been able to revisit this article and freshen it up. We've now got budget options for the Mage and Warrior, although we're still looking out for a solid - and sensibly priced - Shaman option. Budget Boomsday Druid Deck List

This budget version of Treant Druid was theorycrafted by CaioMartins ahead of the Boomsday launch and costs 1,560 Crafting Dust in total.
