Any excuse for turkey.

And more turkey, and turkey after that...

Saw someone (well, Jazzy Jeff) deep frying a turkey on twitter today, is this common place? :|

Any excuse for turkey.

We celebrate with family each year, starting with TV and the parade in NYC, then watch whoever the Detroit Lions football team loses to (my old man is from Michigan) intermittently while getting things going in the kitchen. Once the game is over, it's full throttle with a family full of cooks yelling and bickering in the kitchen over what to fix and how till it finally all lands on the table in some state of completion. This year was no different, but it turned out superb.

The fourth Friday of the month though, that's honestly the day I look forward to the most. Leftovers. Mmmm!. Turkey sandwiches of all shapes and flavors. Left over pie crusts shaped to stuff in leftovers and bake, hot open face slices with gravy on home made dense crumb bread... that's truly Thanksgiving!

My only consolation is most Americans will never know the joy of Christmas crackers.

I was wondering why WoW's battlegrounds were populated by turkeys today.
