I'd like to get a guild together for Mechwarrior online.

Obviously theres still some time to go but happily given the existance of living legends and the previous actual games we don't have to wait, we pick one of them and start our training ready to capture and hold our territory when Mechwarrior online comes online.

Any interest?

LBX20 point blank in the face.

I'm intrigued.

There's a huge problem with this, which is the fact that it implies that a Catapult stripped down to allow every hardpoint to be filled with missiles is somehow not the only acceptable mech loadout. As we all know, this is blatantly wrong.

I'm glad to see there's interest.

I'd like to get set up and organise some skirmish's but what version do people prefer we use?

I'm thinking either the legends remake or the last version of the game either way though i'm not sure there are any public servers available.

So while i seem to be slightly late I'd be very interested in joining this.

I'd be interested, but gaming time is a bit in a crunch atm. Though, I suck donkeyballs.

Get new friends, your old ones are obviously rubbish.

Reviving this, I've had a look around and there are existing leagues and clans that play mechwarrior based on the mechwarrior 4 game.

I've posted in the forums for one of the groups and they seem happy for people to come and join them when they're not in private session.

I'd like to get interested in forming an rps mercenary company to train together a bit beforehand, to that end could anyone interested post with where they're based and what time's they could commit to an hour or two.

In the meantime install and patch up your version of mechwarrior 4 and head over to their server for some more casual play, perhaps pop into their irc or forum and say hello as well.

I'd be more interested in MWLL. It's not free (warhead required), but it's prettier and actually works properly with a mouse. Also we can run a dedicated server for it if needed.

I'd steer well clear of anyone using the name smoke jaguar based upon the reputation they have both in the fiction and in the mwll community, though. Strange notions of 'zell'.

Zell isn't really going to be important for MWO and for practice while I'd like us to use inner sphere mechs if we're handicapped by them using superior tech and manage to do well via team work we'll simply end up doing that much better when our opponents start on the same footing.

They've got MWLL set up as well, i've got access to both already and i'm not fussed about which we use but would like to pick one or the other so we can start getting practice going.
