Divinity 2 was actually pretty fun. It got really frustrating at times and it suffers from "Spend the first X hours doing stupid grindy crap until you unlock the real game", but I definitely enjoyed it. And imagine I would love it even more if I could ever stick with a single character for those X hours :p

GoG has the digital version of this box for sale for (right now) 21 USD. Divinity 2 is worth a solid 20 as far as I am concerned, and the older ones have their charm.

Fun fact: GoG pulled a PR stunt that was stupid, even by GoG standards, by originally launching this with "Top 10%" get Divinity 2. They rapidly (in the time it took me to catch a bus) switched it to $20.99, which is reasonable and not at all stupid

I've already got Divine Divinity: is Beyond Divinity worth getting?
And what is Divinity 2 like? What flavour of RPG?
Reviews are all good and that, but hearing it from players is much better.

Divinity 2 is fun. It's a hack and slash action game, but relies on timing and dodging more than clicking as fast as possible. Nice range of abilities, good controls and fairly challenging in places, though I'm sure there's ways to make your character absurdly overpowered if you prefer. It also pokes fun at fantasy cliche in some occasionaly unexpected ways.
