everything I've ever done, everything I'll every do..
I always saw it as an alternative spelling/play on words/whatever of cinematic. Is that right?
Sin-o-matic... surely that's a machine produced by Acme Inc. that is designed to break the 10 commandments, automatically.
I always assumed that the lady in question was named after the automated production of sin. But I hear people say Sino as in Chinese all the time in mumble.
I'm dreadful at people's names tho.
I now know "Lynche" is not the fruit but the act of killing black people.
"Avaa" is "A-Va" not "a-Vah!"
"Arc-Two-Re-AN" not "Archtovan"
I require guidance on "Tachyona" (sp?) and many others.
As for bases Tumas is always going to be Tomb-Ass and Wokuk is Wok-U.K.
*raises hand* Stupid question, here.
How or where might I find my ping, please?
I did take a quick look thru the Q&A, and the previous posts, but couldn't seem to find anything.
Oh.. and alls I know about Sinomatic, is that the accent is on the Sin.
Also, I never knew that about finding the ping. This thread really is useful :D
So,a couple of silly questions. While playing, my screen goes black and everything freezes for a bit, then when it returns everything is slow and my character handles like a bus. I'm guessing this is lag related but I thought I'd better check.
Also, is there a genuine in game performance benefit to have my game loaded on my SSD? At the moment it's on my standard HD, just because there's no space left, and i figured an Intel 3570 plus a nVidia 670 with 8 Gb RAM should be sufficient. Thanks in advance!
Questions 2) From what I've noticed there's not really any game performance other than (much) faster loading of the game itself. This was a much bigger thing when the game used to crash frequently.
Guv: 1) I have a GTX770 and as Cephas said the latest drivers introduced this problem a month or so ago. Very frustrating. I've not tried rolling back, but I'm sure there's some kind of a solution on the PS2 reddit.
The drawback of an SSD is that it took me about half a dozen load screens to read all of the details of next weekend's members' double XP weekend, because it only flashed up for a fraction of a second. As with pretty much any game, the only difference is in the load times. I feel like it gives me the edge on quik redeploys and the like, but that's probably just me justifying the horrific price tag of my rig.
Thanks to both of you for the help. I assumed it was lag based purely because it was only happening during the kind of furballs the Giraffes tend to bring - solo jaunts were mainly fine. I don't recall ever deliberately updating my drivers so maybe a dig around in windows update settings is in order. Good to hear that I might be able to sort it out.
Reddit is usually a good source of information when there's a new driver out. You'll see the outcry threads instantly!
Is it possible to be allergic to circles?
Nvidia Drivers fucked up something for Planetside a while back.
Everything after 332.21 can break your game, for me it even went as far as hard locking the whole PC.
So everyone that uses a Nvidia card, try rolling back.
