I think the highlighting gives an indication to your answer.
Having said that, I have a vast backlog and am still thinking about it.
Also, never go to Scunthorpe.

I called my very first character in WoW Hwyaden. Within fifteen minutes in Dun Morogh someone was chatting to me in Welsh; whilst I had looked up the welsh for duck on t'internets, sadly that was all...

I remember reading somewhere that he felt forced into joining the Foundation and Robot universes by fans/publishers and wasn't really behind the idea in the first place. No idea where I read that...

I played a significant amount of Qvadriga over the weekend. I picked up a Humble Bundle specifically to get it, and have only just managed to find the time to play.
For someone who gets squeamish...

Damn it; I left my wife's laptop running through 158 updates this morning after twelve hours of failing to get anything useful out of windows update.

That was usually the case back when the game was first released, it doesn't look to have changed. I had one triangle east of the river in three of four games yesterday, but the rest were always...

I cannot work out what will work for New York. I'm sure I didn't struggle this much with it the first time around, but can't get above 800. Does anyone have any working plans for it?

Three attempts, each improving. 200 odd before I got a station that I physically couldn't connect. Then 500, which had been my target, and finally 1,500. If I had received an extra line, I might have...

Sticky: Yay, I'm famous!
Yay, I'm famous!
Agreed. I've sunk thousands of hours into Civ II, III, IV and V and for a newcomer, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend V as the best place to start (with both expansion packs). This is without the...
You could try http://www.irfanview.com/ It has a decent slideshow viewer, is free, and I think it does exporting slideshows to external media.

I finally managed to unlock London extreme; I even managed it with no tunnel switching. I couldn't be bothered to rationalise my routes after the 1,000 popped so my bodge job of loops collapsed...

In my experience two directions works much better as well. I found it helped keep a line flowing steadily rather than peaking and troughing.

I sunk a good ten hours in when it was released and came back last night. All of my hard learned tactics have apparently dribbled out of my ears.
I managed a feeble 850 on London chasing after the...

Sticky: I'd be up for that.

I found it a really pleasant little game. It looks nice, sounds nice, and presents a challenge without being frustrating. The mechanics are fairly straightforward, but there is some depth to it. I...

That was the first PC game I ever purchased, and it was worth every penny. I am, however, seriously irritated; I never beat the last mission of the human campaign. I beat the Orc one easily, but...

I cleared a title of ye olde backlog at the weekend: A Virus Named Tom. It is a mix of pipe joining puzzles and twitchy dodging of enemies. Unfortunately, the puzzles weren't massively challenging...

Although it is missing a dimension, I always found Terraria's underground had a nicely natural feeling with tight tunnels, and some caves. There were also plenty of sudden drops and random pools of...
Now that you mention it, I did occasionally do some bear work when the guild was short, but I did revert to a normal WASD for that. But no, in the main I was a pretty tree stood at the back waving my...
I used to play WoW with an ASD movement setup. Backwards was mapped to a modifier + S. I went backwards so rarely that freeing up the extra easy to reach key for a primary ability worked much better...

I'm irritated I didn't pick Metamorphabet, especially after buying it for my toddler for his birthday (it is awesome). Westerado made it onto my short-list as well, but I dropped it. Grr.
