I quite like my Sansa Clip+, 8GB with a microSD expansion slot (I stuck 32GB in mine) and supports FLAC too. Only problem I have with it is the teeny tiny screen which makes navigation an issue.

I have a code for the excellent Shogun 2: Rise of the Samurai DLC for the first to PM.

Damn, hadn't thought of that. Oh well, it's a bit late to do anything about those codes now that they've been in the wild for a few hours. I'll bear that in mind next time.

My pleasure. However, I already own it so the code isn't a whole lot of use to me.

Freshly ripped from this month's PCG, a Steam code for Empire: Total War's (pretty darn spiffy) Warpath Campaign DLC:
Requires the base game, obv.

And I was doing so well...
I made it through the Steam sale with just 63 Corvi and You Monster (for a grand total of less than two quids) and then I just happened to wander onto the Unity of Command...

This is still up for grabs for any bits o' coal anyone has lying around, and now I have a copy of [snip - sold to Amalgamated Biscuit] that is surplus to requirements (and another coupon, 50% off...
Empire can be a pretty fun sandbox to dick around in, so long as you can put up with utterly broken siege battles, but Shogun 2 is a far better game.

Storm: Frontline Nation, plus a copy of Portal I still have loitering around (also 33% off Valve games, but no bugger'll want that).
Yes, it's incredibly light and fluffy (even by JRPG standards). Don't go in expecting your strategy nodules to be taxed or you'll come away bitterly disappointed. That said, it does provide an...

At least these magic wristband pedlars have put some effort in, unlike the last one to hit the big time which was simply a rubber band with a hologram stuck to it to "enhance chi flow".

Yup. turns out Tim Stone is an ardent sim-head, who knew?
Oh, that's disappointing. And I was getting all good and ready to lavish them with praise for the decision to reinvest the disc costs...

Have you guys checked the About page recently? I think he might be onto something...
(although I can't claim credit for it, John made it himself because no-one else could be bothered, it just struck me as somewhat apropos)
Hey look, I've found just the site for redox: http://johnwalkersucks.tumblr.com/

I don't think the posts are being eaten, for some time now the final page of long comments threads (over 4 or 5 pages) have simply been inaccessible with the posts only showing up if the comments...

BRINK just doesn't play nice with certain ATI cards, I'm afraid. With a 5XXX series card you shouldn't be lacking in grunt.

Indeed, I've always found it a little odd that Splash Damage took the idea of using a more stylised art direction from TF2 without seemingly grasping precisely why Valve went in that direction. I'm...

I gave it a listen a while ago, I think I've had my fill of boozy, multiple hour 1upyours-alikes.

PCG, EG and, solely for 'quick-looks', GiantBomb.

Indeed, he's definitely still a staff writer (or rather section editor, according to last months mag). He just hasn't gotten his teeth into anything juicey lately.
My initial reflex would also be...
