Take out your GPU and boot with your onboard graphics.
Works? Good your Motherboard and everything else is ok.
Move on to the solutions above and return your GPU if it still doesn't play nice.

No, the reason AMD 8 core CPU's aren't gaming grade is because they aren't very good.
