And there we go, another people that I find extremely sad: the ones that say "no, I don't like this food". Again, you cannot say you dislike the genre in general. It's impossible, simply impossible....

These generalizations makes me sad. You have an offer of a genre that has so many branches in storytelling, in styles, in themes, in tropes, and you just discard it with "I dislike it". I've known so...

Oh, and "ok" for Under A Killing Moon and Pandora Directive is quite the understatement.

I like The 7th Guest, but 11th hour has nothing redeemable.
Yeah, tried that, didn't work. Will remove all temp files then.

Tried to get the Square Enix surprise bundle but the board link was the US one, and I thought that it was not available in the UK. Just found out it was, but now it's too late. This is what happens...

The mumbo jumbo 7th wonder alien blah blah is surprisingly solid and a joy to play even when it's the old candy crush/puzzle quest gameplay.
In my case, because I can never take advantage of it. I have a 3gb data limit and I can barely use them because of the huge amount of no-reception-whatsoever zones in London, and I commute by...

I remember my father bursting out laughing at the animations.

I mean, this is a site that LOVES Just Cause 2. For God's sake. "IRONY", yeah.

Well, yes, of course, and I thought that this is something that is asumed for all adventure games. As this is something that usually happens with books - and adventure games are the ones more related...

I always thought this line of reasoning is what turned a glorious game genre full of jewels like the Microprose F19, Tornado, EF2000 or 1942 into an alienating user-hating fest.

Sometimes I think that Johnwalker only detects sexism and such if someone tells him before, and then he builds up the rants. And he is certainly unreliable when talking about old games.

I tried the steam version, but it looked very ugly. I moved to the PS2 version and it was prettier, funnier and I bet better written (one of the writers came from Microids).
About the Daedalic...

I just got the bta games I DON'T KNOW WHY IF I KIND OF HATE THE CONSOLIZATION. Why does paypal exist?

Wow, I am reading that a game is better because it is less a game?
Sorry, move along.

All three flawed and very interesting. The first one is a wonder of atmosphere, a real gothic tale that has a very big problem: backtracking, backtracking, more backtracking. It also moves really...

Yes, well, but I bought the entire bundle wanting to have all the Might&Magic games :(
01-05-2015, 04:02 PM
Well, I don't know why I am asking. I already bought the bundle.

Adventure Mega Bundle. 1$ for The Journey Down ep1 and Runaway 2.
The other two Runaway games, EP2 of The Journey Down and games that I don't know plus the...

Well, to say that Microids games were a milestone... Syberia was, of course (and Still life if you ask me), but the rest were not, way were not. Much less experimental, adventurous and rich than the...
