Gave up on level 9. the fact that you can only thrust upwards and slightly sideways means you're bouncing around most of the time. Mix that with having to aim precisely, a time limit (fuel) and lasers/explosives all over the place and you have a recipe for frustration. The sidescrolling shmup for when you die is actually more fun.

Some nice ideas but in the main, the controls felt a bit toss. Rather than fighting gravity as you're supposed to do in these things it just felt like I was fighting shit rotation/thrust controls.
Still, the idea of some more condensed arenas rather than the usual explore planet/get the heck out of there is a nice one, it just needs those damn controls tweaking enough to play nice and a bit more clarity between the player ship and the background then it should be a lot better.
In the meantime, I'll stick with the excellent Gravitron and Weibo's Thrust.Videogames, eh?

I wanted to make a Dickstarter joke, but it felt like forcing it.- If the sound of Samuel Barber's "Adagio For Strings" makes you think of Kharak burning instead of the Vietnamese jungle, most of your youth happened during the 90s. -
