CyberP, have you ever watched Mystery Science Theatre 3000 or Riff Trax? I...I just think it'd make more sense where some of us are coming from if you watched that then understood why the things I've mentioned are so fun/funny.

Looks like it's coming to theaters after all.
Bonus fun fact: the sequel comes out next year as Sharknado 2 takes Manhattan.

This is one of those films where you get a couple of friends around drink alcohol and laugh at the stuff, when I was in uni we used to love this kind of shit and it was very entertaining. Not all things you see have to be high art or educational sometimes its good just to lay back and not think and have a laugh.

Sharknado is just full of so much cheesyness. It's great. Too bad people are trying to take it so seriously when it's just one of SyFys "Fuck it. Why not?" movies.Kingdom of Knights - Community Manager

There's always that one guy who tries to take jokes seriously. Unfortunately they all congregate online now."Halo is designed to make the player think "I look like that, I am macho sitting in my undies with my xbox""

Just watched Sharknado 2: The Second One and I have to say it wasn't nearly as entertaining as the first. There were lots of fun cameos, but it felt like it was trying too hard to recapture the magic of the first one and came up short. I am disappoint.

I imagine it's similar to what happened with Birdemic: Shock and Terror. First one was genuinely funny in a 'so bad it's good' way (even more so when you read up on nutcase director James Nguyen and how convinced he was that he was actually making a good film) but the much higher budget sequel had nothing to offer besides achieving a grand 2.1 IMBD rating over the original film's 1.8 rating.
