Currently watching the first season of Archer, laughing every step of the way. I also have to throw myself on the Breaking Bad is brilliant wave, very interested in where they're going with season 5.

I finished up season 4 of Breaking Bad earlier. Hoooooooly shit. Those last few episodes are insane, but that last one was just something else entirely. Gonna catch up tomorrow, then move onto season 2 of Archer. From there, the world is my oyster.

So, Black Mirror:
Episode 1: Ridiculous, but then so is the news. I probably would have given up on the show, but the question of "Will it actually happen?" was enough to keep me going. Which I suppose was really the point of the whole thing.
Episode 2: Had a bit of a Sci-Fi Original feel to it, but a little closer to the mark than the first.
Episode 3: Holy shit, get this team making movies now.
Coincidentally, I've been watching a lot of The Twilight Zone recently.

I'm watching series 4 of 24. It's good in a mindless way. It's at its best when they aren't trying to fabricate drama and tension between CTU employees. It's hilarious that everyone can find time to talk about their relationships when the next apocalypse is less than three hours distant, but it's also rather boring.
The two main lessons I'm taking away from the series:
1) foreigners are evil
2) it's okay to torture anyone at the drop of a hat

I've exhausted Netflix's supply of Archer and Bob's Burgers alas, so now I'm watching Monk, around two episodes a day. It's OCD-Columbo!
Also, after recently getting into ArmA 2, I wanted some tactical military watching; Egg651 recommended Generation Kill (by those who did The Wire). I'm thoroughly enjoying it - very impressive objective-esque portrayal of the soldiers. No black-and-white good and bad guys, just bloody shades of grey throughout.
I've yet to watch The Wire, but it's on my list.

The most reason season of Futurama I watched about three episodes and then just gave up. I think I laughed about twice during those episodes.
Anyway, I've made a start on the Sopranos but during lunch breaks at work I've been using 4od to blitz through Peep Show. Series 1 was good, series 2 and 3 were brilliant, series 4 was still pretty good while the stories got increasingly silly and series 5 I've only watched one episode thus far. Bit worried that this will be the tipping point to be honest. Not many comedies get to the point where they're hitting a peak of fairly daft stories while managing to maintain the funnies. Hope to be proven wrong, of course.A brave heart and a courteous tongue. They shall carry thee far through the jungle, manling.

I don't know I found Peep show to be a series of two halves series 1-3 are excellent but series 4-6 are absolutly horrible...its just you go from watching a pair of loveable if socially awkward people that you can definitely relate to to some really mentally ill people your just shouting "NO!" at the TV. Its actually quite strange to be honest.

I'm watching the Olympic Opening Ceremony and have no idea what's going on. I've never seen one before though, so for all I know that's completely normal.

That was an absolutely awesome, in its purest literal sense, opening ceremony. Danny Boyle did an utterly fantastic job. Wiped the floor with Beijing for one, simple reason - this one had heart and soul. The forging and combining of the Olympic rings was a master-stroke. Wow.

The industrial Revolution bit was spectacular, so many images and I have to agree with my dad proud to be british especially since they were pretty much showing how it happened to normal people really, the queen bit was quite funny still don't know whether it was the actual queen in the movie or not. NHS bit was a bit eh but i didn't mind it to be honest. Mr Bean was extremly funny and after that it kind of went downhill. The digital revolution was really muddled, i didn't get why they did it like that the music through the decade just took away from it. Torch couldren was weird at first but then I got it. All in all I say very British!

I really enjoyed it. Marina Hyde put it well: "I'm still reeling that a country that can put on a show that hilariously bonkers is allowed nuclear weapons."Open-faced sandwiches are upon you whether you would risk it or not.

-Sons of Anarchy: Holy God I hate everyone. I think this show is pretty awful, but there ain't shit else to watch.
-Workaholics: Season 3 has been incredibly weak, a step down from Season 2 which was a step down from the first. I'm only laughing maybe once or twice an episode. I feel like they're trying to do the Seinfeld/Always Sunny "lovable sociopaths" angle, but let's face it, Workaholics is no Sunny.
-Batman: The Animated Series: The vocabulary in the writing alone proves that this is decidedly not a kid's show.
Other than that, Breaking Bad and the occasional Twilight Zone or X-Files episode.

Watching Warehouse 13. Just love it. There are some plotholes but characters are brilliant, lots of shout out (last ep. featured shotout to a female British archeologist. )

I'm about to make a start on season 2 of the Sopranos and am also watching/re-watching (depending on the episode) Cracker. Coltrane is ace.A brave heart and a courteous tongue. They shall carry thee far through the jungle, manling.
