Haha! It seems that the ooze is only properly accessible from path 3, but with enough jumping over walls you can get to it from path 1 as well.GW2: Saphnabylni & co.

Apparently next week we're getting a balance patch with which necros will be pretty happy:
I'm not holding my breath...this later spoof comment seems about right
- Necromancer skills now show correct casting times on tooltip
- Spinal shivers damage increased by 8%, cooldown increased to 50 seconds to reflect this change
- "life siphon" now renamed to "blood siphon" to better reflect the skill
GW2: Saphnabylni & co.
- Greatsword auto attack is now a blast finisher.
- Healing surge is now instant-cast, heals for 18,000hp at full adrenaline."

Fingers crossed they won't nerf rangers (or rather, pets) into oblivion. I'm not as hopeful they will finally give us a sensible thing to do against invisibility.GW2: Urraca Aldor

Yeah, I'm equal parts excited and nervous about this balance patch. Obviously there are a lot of things that could use fixing, but given that Anet have proved themselves to be quite tone deaf about some of the long-standing balance problems, there's potential for a lot of people to be seriously angry.GW2: Saphnabylni & co.

Bomb kit nerf incoming. "Too strong in PvE because nothing moves lol".
Anyway, reading patch notes is always fun, and the longer they are the better.

As all PvE players know, OP engis and rangers are ruining it for everyone else.
I presume that if there's going to be an "aoe nerf" of the sort we've been fearing for some time, it will be in this patch.GW2: Saphnabylni & co.

Until they relearn the lesson they learned with GW1 and seperate PvE and PvP skills, then they can't balance the game, as the 2 require different things. Warrior in particular in OP in PvE and (so I hear) UP in PvP. The consequence for PvE is that high end content (Dungeons esp. Arah, fracs) is faster and easier for the meta classes in general(Warrior Guardian Mes) and zerker builds in particular which seems a little silly. Although they have said they're doing this (eg Dev post in https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/foru.../2#post1801535) I see little evidence that the balancing patches to date seperate the skills effectively.
Fingers crossed though...GW2: Ohara Scarlett, Lord Carnelian, Ocharra Scarlett, Capita Mortuum, Lady Viridian, Lady Carnelian, Lord Viridian, Xen Adu, Hari Scarlett

Leave us glass cannons alone or even better give us loads more toughness for free would be great!

I shall remain sceptical about the balancing until I see it, anet haven't exactly shown a lot of interest in necro so far.

Necro was the best class in GW1 you see, so it all balances out.
