Public Service Announcement: it is completely impossible for you to notice global warming happening. No hurricane, drought, snowfall, or lack thereof can ever be sensibly attributed to global warming. Stop being so fucking stupid. Weather (local) is completely chaotic and random, even over the course of years and decades. Global warming is a very slow and imperceptible process that we only know exists from - hey, wouldn't you guess it - analysis of GLOBAL temperatures.

Protip: Replace Global Warming with Climate Change, and you'll come across as more credible (Not addressed to anyone in particular)

The science is still being developed on it. My point earlier in the thread was with the sheer age of the world we have an absolutely minuscule amount of data. Suppose we take my 25 years as data, that means we've on record 0.00000005% of data to plot out what's really going on. Now obviously it's not as black and white as that and science can tell us more, but how close are we to even having 1% correct information on what's going on now compared to say 10,000 years ago or 100,000 years etc.
That's pretty damn accurate. Scientists would not be making the claims if it wasn't that accurate.

What scares me about Global Warming (well, other than the fact that it means we're basically fucking over future generations) is that there is still a widespread belief that it's all made up by sensationalist scientists or at the very least that there's no conclusive evidence for it. Despite hundreds of studies showing it actually happens.
It's either proof of the power of lobbying or of the apathy and short-sightedness of humanity, neither of which is particularly appealing.
