Four Legs Good, Eight Legs Better: Octopus City Blues

Over at Indiestatik, Chris Priestman draws attention to Octopus City Blues, which isn't a difficult task. The name attracts eyes like a flare in the night and then there are the screenshots, of a weird retro RPG set in the cities and settlements that have been built on the back of a giant octopus. A sort of Lovecraftian Discworld perhaps? The game is heading toward some form of crowdfunding space in the near future and a demo should be available soon. When asked the question, 'what kind of game [is Octopus City Blues]?', the team respond: "We draw inspiration from many sources, including games. If it were a game, it’d probably be described as an adventure game. You make a lot of decisions and meet really weird people." Sounds good and looks good too, as the video below demonstrates.

That's probably my favourite developer logo ever.
