Hue is an delightful puzzle game which is incredibly bright and colourful (unsurprisingly), where you progress by changing the colour of the background. At its core it’s quite a sad game. You’re searching for your missing mother, and you uncover her story as you go. This takes you through various themes of love, loss, remorse, and existence. It might be sad, but damn it’s beautiful.

Your mother invented colour, and then accidentally disappeared. Bit of a faux pas in the science community, but one that sets you off on Hue’s colourful, doodley, puzzle adventure. Here's wot I think.
Oh yay! Hue [official site] is coming out soon. It's a puzzle platformer where you swap background colours to conceal and reveal bits of the environment. One of the games which caught my eye at Rezzed on Friday was Hue [official site] - a platformer which relies on you manipulating the background colour of a level to progress.
