As there are plenty of new beasties to hunt in Monster Hunter World Iceborne, you will be able to harvest them to obtain ingredients required to make the new Master Rank weapons. It's not just the new monsters either, as every single monster has a Master Rank equivalent and that means new parts. But how do you make them?

It's perhaps unsurprising that the new monsters in Monster Hunter World Iceborne yield brand new parts to combine into the brand new Master Rank armor. Every single monster, including the old ones, have new parts that you can mix and match to make some decent equipment. But which ones should you be creating and are there any sets that are essential?
Now that Monster Hunter World Iceborne is out on PC, at long last, there is a new cast of monsters to hunt. They range from big woolly beasts to intimidating elder dragons that have fresh ways to dish out the damage. There are also some returning favourites from the previous games in the series that the PC never got, such as Tigrex or Nargacuga, only…

If it wasn't for the fact that Tigrex has ridiculously low stamina, it would perhaps be one of the hardest monsters to fight in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. Regardless of how tired it is, the Tigrex can still give hunters a few problems with its unorthodox attack patterns, as well as some weaknesses that are far from obvious.

Look, there are a lot of silly designs in Monster Hunter World Iceborne, but I still think that this hench lad with a rockabilly mohawk takes the biscuit. Brachydios doesn't just wear that protruding thing on his bonce for show though, as secreted within is an explosive slime that it uses to coat its fists, before pummelling the ground like a toddler having a massive…
Those familiar with Monster Hunter will know that Nargacuga is a returning creature in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. Its bat-like features make it one of the more striking looking monsters. It also has a really bad temper and has a rather edgy way of showing just how bad tempered it is, by lighting up its red eye shadow.
Perhaps your first real challenge in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is the frosty savage itself - Barioth. On top of just being a really, really fast, it has some rather brutal melee attacks and ice tornado projectiles that can easily overwhelm you. Preparation is key to winning this fight and it is possible to beat it.
I always thought the Pukei-Pukei was a monster that didn't live up to its potential, but Monster Hunter World Iceborne's Coral Pukei-Pukei only served to highlight just how dangerous it could have been even further. Its tail can eject gallons of water in a jet stream. This makes the Coral Pukei-Pukei different enough to warrant needing its own strategies to defeat it.
How do you make one of the more annoying large monsters from the main game more annoying in Monster Hunter World Iceborne? How about giving it a sleep inducing gas that it can waft around like a bad smell. It makes Paolumu's hard-hitting, but otherwise very avoidable attacks a lot more dangerous. But as long as you avoid the gas clouds, you should be fine.
The original Tobi-Kadachi was one of the first monsters you faced in Monster Hunter World, but Iceborne has the Viper Tobi-Kadachi. It differs from its purely lightning cousin in its more reptilian appearance. It can also inflict one of three different status ailments that can easily put you in a vulnerable position.
The first monster that Capcom showed us for Monster Hunter World Iceborne was the Banbaro - a stag-like wyvern that is generally quite peaceful. However, if you cross it, it will use its antlers to scoop up boulders and trees to charge at you relentlessly. Banbaro can therefore be a bit of a handful to hunt if you're going in unprepared.
Your first foray into the frozen wilds of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will pit you up against the Beotodus. Think of this ice fish as the more aggressive version of Jyuratodus, as it has some very powerful strikes that inflict the nasty Iceblight status ailment. If you're struggling to hunt Beotodus, or are a bit rusty to hunting monsters, this guide will get you up…
Monster Hunter World's first big expansion takes hunters to the rather chilly land of Hoarfrost Reach. The new stuff isn't just limited to what you discover in the frozen tundra, as Iceborne includes new monsters to hunt in familiar and new locations, as well as new techniques and Master Rank equipment. There's a ton more besides this and we'll be going through as much as…
Glavenus is yet another returning monster for Monster Hunter World Iceborne, and this one is rather unique. The main gimmick here is that Glavenus likes to use its massive tail like a cleaver, igniting it for extra power, and burning anything it touches. It also has a short temper and will frequently become enraged, making its attacks deadlier.
With the expansion to Monster Hunter World finally being released on PC, there's no better time to jump into the vast world of Monster Hunter World than right now! Even if you're delving into the main game without looking at the new expansion - Iceborne - there is plenty to do in this complicated game.

We now know when Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be coming to PC and I'll be honest, it's a little earlier than I was expecting it to be. A post-holiday treat if you will, to tie us over until more big releases grace our screens. Here's everything you need to know about Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on PC.

They just keep coming don't they? A lot of games were announced at E3 2019, things that we didn't know about, as well as stuff that's previously announced, or expansions to already released games. Now, to the casual outsider, what we're doing might seem absolutely nuts, but we thought we'd put together an alphabetical list of all the PC games that have been confirmed to…

Monster Hunter: World has a couple of crossover events, but the most ambitious puts us in the shoes of Geralt of Rivia as he hunts down the monster that transported him and a Nekker to the forest. This turns out to be the Leshen who has taken up residence in the Ancient Forest and disturbed the natural order. You'll therefore need to put it down.…

Monster Hunter: World has seen a fair number of collaborations, the latest one on PC will be between Capcom and Square Enix. The Behemoth update comes with some new armour, emotes, references to Final Fantasy, and a new Elder Dragon in the form of Behemoth. While not a siege battle like Kulve Taroth, this creature is perhaps the toughest single monster that you can kill…
Yet another monster has been introduced to Monster Hunter: World, and this time it is other half of the Elder Dragon power couple - Lunastra. This azure variant on Teostra is more powerful, more prone to erupting into a fiery inferno, and its blue flame patches can have some utterly bizarre interactions with other Elder Dragon attacks. This guide will go over the strengths and…
