Vehicular disaster simulator SnowRunner has launched its first chunk of seasonal content today. You'll want to bring those snow chains because there's a decent bit to plow through. Season Pass holders will be headed to an icy lake in Russia while all other players will have some new map-modding tools and missions to play with. There's more yet to come later in the summer, say…

Let it not be said that SnowRunner doesn't have enough snow to run (well, drive) through. The rough n' tough truck sim is adding more routes to get stuck in with Lake Kovd, a treacherous frozen quagmire packed that'll arrive with the game's first season pass update later this week. Hope you've brought tyre chains, because it's about to get real slippery in old Russia.

A new area has opened up in SnowRunner with a free update today, inviting players to get stuck in the Taymyr's Rift map. Sounds like a great place to take a honking great truck off-roading, Rift does. The publishers have also now picked winners for the first wad of monthly prize money for people making popular SnowRunner mods.

I took my Chevy to the levee, but the levee wasn’t dry. That’s the problem all over Black River, actually: a recent flood has rendered the soil sodden enough to swallow a car whole. Days of rain have closed the north road out of an already-sleepy Michigan town with rockslides. Power lines are down, too - although that might have more to do with stubborn…
If there are two things you probably shouldn't be sick of going into SnowRunner, it's trucks and snow. They're sort of essential parts of the chilly Spintires: MudRunner follow-up, right? But if you do get tired of 'em after heading into Saber Interactive's frosty truck sim, fret not. When it launches next week, SnowRunner should launch will full mod support - letting you get behind…
I'd forgotten that Snowrunner, the trucking sim where the weather pushes back you at every turn, is out this month. The trailer reminded me of that, and it also reminded me of Death Stranding. I mean, it's a clear parody of Hideo Kojima's game, but it's also the sad tale of a man in a truck and the family he left behind.

Winter might be wrapping up, but it's never too late for an out-of-season blizzard. SnowRunner, arctic follow-up to ponderous mud-crawler Spintires: Mudrunner is bringing the chill back to PC on April 28th. With bigger landscapes, wetter roads and colder bottoms, SnowRunner dares you to turn off the in-car air conditioning and wrap up warm for some slow and steady ice road truckin'.

Spintires: MudRunner is a cludgy delight of a thing, somehow turning the nightmare of getting a vehicle snared in sodden dirt into a puzzle game. It did so well that we're here once again, this time with snow chains wrapped around the tires and a flask of warm tea on the passenger seat. SnowRunner is a bigger, wetter, and colder addition to the surprisingly successful…
