If Valve wants Steam Machines to work, they need to copy the Nintendo Switch
The Steam Rod
I'm really very in love with the Nintendo Switch. I wasn't expecting to be. In fact, on its announcement I pre-emptively pre-ordered one on Amazon, before later cancelling in disappointment at the paucity of its launch range. (A good trick, by the way - pre-order (for free) the moment something's announced, cancel at your leisure when it doesn't seem your sort of thing, or be assured of a present when everyone else is furiously scouring eBay.)
Yet a couple of weeks ago I picked one up, having been so constantly intrigued and enticed by the delight people were taking in Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. And gosh, I'm really glad I did. And now I so wish this were how PCs worked.
