My laptop broke and I understand watching let's plays now

I feel I'm revealing too much strangeness in these now...

When I was a kid I was afraid of the dark. To be exact I was afraid of the unknown monsters that lived within it. (Aside from a brief period of alarming confidence aged approximately six when I imagined myself as the monster-eating daughter of a vampire, and would lie in wait pretending to be asleep, both the bait and trap for monsters that I would then eat myself.)
