That's no moon, that's my wife! Nights of Azure 2 due in October

Gals with swords being pals

The busty action of Nights of Azure will return on October 24th when Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon hits our shores, publishers Koei Tecmo have announced. The action-RPG sequel will continue to explore the demon-ridden Europe-ish fantasy world, this time with a new group of gal pals. One of 'em has woken up as a half-demon after being sacrificed by a shadowy cult, see, which is a classic setup for a firm female friendship. The first Nights of Azure only came west in February but Gust have been working on the sequel for a fair while. Here, have a look:

It's nice to see gals being so pally. Firm friends. Real chums. Here's the official blurb from Koei Tecmo:

"Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon takes place in a fictional, demon-ridden Western European city towards the end of the 19th century. The story focuses on a knight protector named Alushe and her two childhood friends – Liliana, a kind-hearted priestess, and Ruhenheid, a holy knight of the Lourdes Order. While guarding Liliana, Alushe is ambushed and killed only to later awaken as an artificial half-demon at the hands of the New Curia, a religious organization with dark ties. In the company of a variety of unlikely allies with their own pasts and agendas, Alushe's strong desire to save Liliana gives her the strength to scatter the shadows shrouding the world and motivation to uncover the shocking truth behind the mysterious Queen of the Moon."

Our corporate siblings at USgamer kinda sorta liked the first Nights of Azure. What did you make of it, chums?

Shortly before Nights of Azure 2 arrives, several of the first game's characters will reappear in crossover Dynasty Warriors 'em up Warriors All-Stars.
