Fingers Crossed! Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Rated

Woo!

Up is down, red is green, and I don't know what to make of this world where Bandai Namco are again releasing Pac-Man games actually want to play. Well, mostly. But Pac-Man Championship Edition is ridiculous and wonderful and colourful, Pac-Man 256 has its fans, and ooh! looks like Patrick Mann may be returning with another Championship Edition. That's if listings from South Korea's game ratings board aren't more 'hilarious' pranks from Ian Video Games. He has been mighty giggly lately, scampering away whenever you try to corner him, so you never know.

Tweetytwooter 'lifelower' spotted the listings [ta for the notice, Polygon] which basically say yep, Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is a game. Yep, it's on PC. Yep, it involves these things:

I assume these icons are to explain that the game lets you touch both males and females, that it will pelt you with arrows, it can electrocute you (you'd need to get right into the USB ports with your tongue but yeah, fair enough), that Patrick Mann eerily refuses to talk to you, Patrick is pumped full of steroids, Patrick is popping pills, and that you can buy thistles.

Bandai Namco haven't announced this yet, of course, but don't be entirely surprised if they do. Though if you see Ian Video Games roaming around making wakka-mwakka noises, yeah, the odds are good this is a prank.

Oh dang, Championship Edition is only £1.99/2,49€/$2.49 in the Steam summer sale.
