Steam Charts: They Said It Could Never Happen

I had all the characteristics of a blogger — frayed jeans, opinions, laptop, tea — but my depersonalisation was so intense, had gone so deep, that my normal ability to compile charts had been eradicated, the victim of a slow, purposeful erasure. I was simply imitating top ten articles, a rough resemblance of a best-sellers list, with only a dim corner of my mind functioning.

Cossacks 3

I’m trying to think who it could be. I don’t really have enemies any more, or not knowingly so. Some forgotten bully from school who never left our hometown and is still obsessed with tormenting me? A fellow journalist whose article I might have drunkenly tweeted something rude about in 2009? Someone I unfollowed or unfriended because they were tiresome or awful? You Know, Those Guys? S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Studio GSC Announce… Cossacks 3

Remember when S.T.A.L.K.E.R. studio GSC Gameworld grandly announced its renewed existence to the world, and how I warned you it was unlikely their next game would be a new entry in the open-world FPS series? I do hope you didn’t get your hopes up regardless.

GSC Game World today announced Cossacks 3 [official site], which is actually a remake of ye olde Cossacks: European Wars from 2001. Their return to their historical epic real-time strategy series is due later this year, and teases battles with up to 10,000 units.
