Pathfinder Adventures goes green in Rise of the Goblins

Won’t someone think of the goblins? For decades, the little scamps have existed for low-level players to bully and mock, treated as little more than rats with better loot. It’s not on. Now the goblins are fighting back in a story expansion for Pathfinder Adventures [official site], Obsidian Entertainment’s adaptation of the RPG card game. The ‘Rise of the Goblins’ expansion adds a new campaign where we get to play as the violent pranksters, eating slugs, messing about, and setting everything on fire. They’re free spirits! Wot I Think: Mysterium

Books and syringe boxes both open. Obviously.

Mysterium [official site] is one of my favourite board games. It’s somewhere between Dixit and Cluedo in that you’re a psychic trying to find a murder’s culprit, location and weapon but the only clues you have to go on are these wonderfully illustrated cards given to you by the “ghost” player which form your psychic visions. The game now has an official online version so I’ve been checking it out to see how it translates.

Mysterium: Ghost-Bothering Whodunnit Coming To PC

In the last week I’ve recommended ghost-bothering board game Mysterium [publisher’s website] to two different people asking about which board game they should pick up for a family Christmas present and I think at least two other people have picked up their own copy of the game having played it at my house in the last month.
