Well, that was E3. Another year down, and it feels like a good one. Let’s cap the week off with another roundup of the week’s best gaming deals to check out – and now, excitingly, I can talk about the Yakuza series, so that’s nice. Everything becomes a PC game eventually.

As usual, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started. Read the rest of this entry »

stories untold

As we collectively stand on the precipice of yet another E3 and more and more companies are frantically trying to plug the, frankly ludicrious, number of leaks that are happening as each minute goes by, we’ve got another batch of the best PC gaming deals of the week to check out. This one’s got a bunch of our own picks from a bunch of old games, too! Excitement!

As usual, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

This week’s batch of deals includes, but isn’t limited to, a big discount on Dragon Ball FighterZ. That would explain the gratuitous use of a Vegeta image just above this very text. At least that’s the reasoning I’m using. Other than that, there’s also discounts on everything from graphics cards to Frostpunk and even another chance to pick up Sleeping Dogs for less than the price of a Brighton coffee.

As usual, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

While I’ve still got Frostpunk, Dark Souls Remastered and State of Decay 2 sitting in my current backlog, it’s a comfort to know that no matter how far removed in time we get from FMV games, just the sight of one will make me want to instantly drop everything and go play them instead. Case in point, this week’s batch of the best PC gaming deals of the week includes multiple FMV adventure games from the mid-to-late nineties in all their campy goodness.

As usual, we’ve also got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

I’ve spent far too many hours over the past week playing Frostpunk so needless to say, it’s about time to shake off the quiet despair and growing anxiety that a game like that can leave you with and check out a fresh batch of discounts for games and tech. There’s even a cheap copy of Cannon Fodder in this week’s entry, so you can safely assume I’ll have the theme song from that game in my head for a week straight.

As usual, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

Like the little robot up there says, it’s time for more exciting things from the darkest and often weirdest parts of the internet. While I continue to resist my now-weekly urge to reinstall the first Dark Souls (since I apparently cannot wait for the remastered edition to show up), there have been plenty of gaming deals that have reared their heads over the past few days.

So, while we’re all gathered here, we may as well take a look at what’s on offer. Let’s do that. As always, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places.

If you are reading this, odds are fairly good that you are both an internet user and alive. That winning combination will also mean that it’s probably been almost impossible not to have run into some form of notification that today is, in fact, Star Wars day. Because May the 4th, you know. If nothing else, it’s given me an excuse to use a shot from Dark Forces as the header to this week’s roundup of the best PC gaming deals. Come for the whimsy, stay for the deals.

As the final Friday of April rolls around (somehow) and we edge ever closer into what might actually have the gall to call itself Summertime, the larger video game releases are beginning to space out. Frostpunk and Battletech both saw releases this past week, but if neither of those suited you, maybe something in this week’s best PC gaming deals will fill the void.

As usual, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

If you happen to be living in the UK right now, it’s more than likely that you are currently under the watchful gaze of the most oppressive sun we’ve seen all year. Whether you reckon that’s a good thing or a bad thing, we’ve got a brand new batch of video game related deals for you to check out this very week, while you either bask in, hide from or praise this brand new sun.

We look in shame upon the mound of empty chocolate packaging that suggests a break well-spent. We see the rows of eggs on store shelves practically being given away to clear space for whatever seasonal tat comes next. Yes, Easter for us may have been and gone but in the world of retail any holiday lasts thrice as long for the chance to squeeze out an extra purchase or two.

So, just before the sales come to a close, here are some of the week’s best deals in the world of gaming, tech and more. Read the rest of this entry »

dead-cells-art

Bit of an early roundup of the best PC gaming deals of the week this time around, what with all that very British ‘bank holiday’ stuff happening this week. Of course, that doesn’t stop discounts from happening and there’s even the odd Easter Sale thrown in, just to add to the mess of sale ranges out there.

As usual, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

Best PC gaming deals of the week

It’s Friday once again, so I’m back to bother you all with a roundup of the very best PC gaming deals of the week as well as a few extra fun bits thrown in because they’re also pretty good. Most importantly of all, though – on the subject of weekends, does the week start on Sunday or Monday? Is this a question that humanity will ever definitively find an answer to or does it entirely come down to preference?

Feel free to argue about that in the comments, but in the meantime, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

I’ve been playing an obscene amount of Into The Breach. Right now, even the dystopian hellscape of a future ridden by awful bug monsters feels like top-tier escapism. And s peaking of escapism, it’s time for another batch of the week’s best PC gaming deals from around the web.

This particular set of deals is mostly digital, with a couple of cheeky techy bits thrown in for good measure. Some of these aredeals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US. Let’s get started.

This week is a fun one. Not only because I get to briefly mention Tex Murphy again in an article (though, admittedly, that is a fairly big factor) but because the deals have been plentiful. Onto Tex Murphy business though – you can get Tex Murphy cheap right now and you should, if you have a weak spot for film noir, adventure games or general silliness.

As usual, we’ve got deals that’ll work in the UK, deals that’ll work in the US and some deals that will work in both the UK and US, as well as presumably many other places. Let’s get started.

Folks, it’s the first Friday of February, which should really allow me to get away with alliteration-based puns but I fear they have already begun to outstay their welcome. Frak. Nevertheless, you’ve all hopefully been paid by now, so it might be time to treat yourself to something nice, in the way of a digital game here or there. With that in mind, it’s time to check out another batch of deals from the past week or so. So let’s do just that. Read the rest of this entry »
