Four days in the fields of Pure Farming 2018

I have been lied to.

The letter from my late grandfather which arrived at my desk spoke of freedom. It spoke of an alternative from the daily grind of the city life, of charming adventures, of hard work rewarded and of peace of mind.

An abandoned farm just for me! As I packed my luggage, I was already dreaming of quirky neighbours, magic sprites and turnips. So many turnips. But once I reached my destination, Pure Farming 2018‘s harsh truth was revealed to me: grandpa’s farm was riddled with debts. And The Bank wanted me to pay. Read the rest of this entry »

Grow your own: Pure Farming 2018 planting mod tools

Internauts, place your bets: how long until someone adds a giant wheeled penis to Pure Farming 2018 as a tractor? Publishers Techland today announced the tract ’em up will have mod support when it launches in March, supporting “machines of all categories: tractors, harvesters, ploughs, trailers, pickups and trucks.” So, you know.

Pure Farming 2018 trundles out in March 2018

Just as E3 rides a wave of big flashy announcements from American games full of headshots, Gamescom is drifting in atop news about German favourites like industrial simulators. Techland today announced that Pure Farming 2018 [official site], which they’re publishing but not making, will launch on March 13th 2018. Pure Farmind 2018

Pure Farming 17 has been delayed for so long that it’s now got a new name: Pure Farming 2018 [official site]. Publishers Techland (the same gang who made Dead Island and published Torment: Tides of Numenera) say it will arrive early next year, not this year as expected, because they’re keen “to make it as good as it needs to be”.

No, Ryelly: Dead Island Devs Announce Pure Farming

Hope you've been saving your plasma gun ammo for this boss battle!

Techland, the Polish studio behind high-action first-person shooters including Dead Island, Call of Juarez, and Dying Light, have announced they’re making a farming simulator. Pure Farming 17: The Simulator [official site] will be a serious farm ’em up, no zombies or nothing as far as I know. Though I do believe that techno-organic monster teased in the announcement trailer, as shown ↑ up top, may be the final boss.
