Hey, devs! EGX Rezzed 2018’s Leftfield Collection submission are now open

Hey, you: do you make video games? If so, nice. Thanks. Thank you for the video games. Keep it up. A follow-up: perhaps consider submitting your game for inclusion in the Leftfield Collection at EGX Rezzed in London next year. Rezzed is a games show organised by our adoptive corporate parent Gamer Network, and Leftfield is the best bit. It brings together, and I quote, “independently developed games and game-like projects that often defy genre classification.” Perhaps your game might fit? It’s free to submit games to the Leftfield so mebbe give it a think. Read the rest of this entry »

EGX opens Leftfield Collection signups

Hey, you: are you making a neat video game? Submit it to the Leftfield Collection at EGX 2017. Oi Indies: EGX Rezzed Leftfield Collection Submissions Open

I think the best thing about Rezzed, (now EGX Rezzed) is the Leftfield Collection. In the midst of a busy show floor of flashing lights and expensive backdrops is a corridor of indie games. Yes, that corridor is always too narrow, and yes, if only the devs would put more effort into decorating their section of wall, but don’t underestimate what that space is: it’s free space to games that would otherwise never be able to afford to appear at a high profile gaming show. And if you’d like to see your game appearing there, you can now apply.
